Data Collection and Purposes

Creating an RvVPN account requires no email address; a username and password are enough. An email address is not required for registration. Account data is used for authentication, maintaining subscription status, showing remaining traffic, and providing access to the client, order, and support ticket pages.

Order records include the selected plan, payment status, transaction result, refund status, and information directly related to order processing. This data is used to deliver subscriptions, verify payments, process refunds, identify duplicate orders, and resolve billing disputes. RvVPN processes only the information needed for these purposes.

The website may collect analytics such as page paths, referring pages, browser type, device category, and approximate region. This data helps assess whether pages work properly, identify compatibility issues, and improve content structure. Website analytics are handled separately from network acceleration activity and are not used to build a browsing history.

No Logs and Connection Data

RvVPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users access through international routes, or retain webpage content, DNS query content, or history that could reconstruct specific browsing activity. Account subscription status, traffic balance, and order status required to operate the service are not browsing content.

The service does not create connection logs that can be used to trace an individual's network activity, so there is no retention period for such logs. To keep routes operating, the system may process aggregated capacity and fault information, but this information is not used to identify the destinations visited by a particular user. When a user submits a support ticket with diagnostic details, that content is used only to address the relevant issue and is cleared according to retention rules after the purpose is complete.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel use necessary cookies or browser local storage to maintain login status, save the interface language, remember essential display preferences, and protect account operations. Without this data, login status, language selection, or order pages may not work as expected.

Login credentials in local storage are used only for the account session. Users can remove related data by signing out or using the browser's clearing tools. After clearing, users may need to log in again, and interface preferences previously saved in the current browser may be reset.

Payment Data Processing

RvVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Payment processing is handled by the relevant third-party payment services. During payment, a third party may collect information required to complete the transaction, manage risk, and handle disputes under its own rules; that information is governed by the provider's privacy terms.

RvVPN receives transaction results needed to complete an order, such as whether payment succeeded, the transaction identifier, and the payment channel. It does not directly store complete authentication information for third-party payment accounts. Order data is used only to activate subscriptions, reconcile accounts, handle after-sales matters, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.

Data Retention, Access, and Deletion

Account and subscription data is generally retained while the account remains in use. Order information is kept as needed for account reconciliation, refund processing, dispute resolution, and applicable requirements; once the purpose is complete, relevant information is deleted, anonymized, or restricted from further use. Aggregated analytics may be used for service analysis once they can no longer reasonably be linked to a specific user.

Users can view account and order information in the user panel. To request correction or deletion of account data, submit a request through the support ticket page. Account ownership may need to be verified before a deletion request is processed. Data required for legal obligations, incomplete orders, refund processing, or security disputes may be restricted and temporarily retained until the relevant matter is resolved.

Policy Updates and Scope

This policy applies to the RvVPN website, user panel, and subscription services. Third-party payment pages, operating system stores, and websites accessed by users are governed by their own privacy rules. RvVPN cannot replace those third parties' decisions about how they process data.

This policy may be updated when service features, data processing practices, or applicable requirements change. Updated content will be published on this page, and the last updated date at the top will be changed accordingly. Material changes to data processing may be announced on the site or shown in the user panel. Users should review the policy in effect at the time before continuing to use the service.
